After the first batch of students had flown the nest, 48 new students joined the MPSI classes at the Lycée Méditerranéen (LYMED), bringing the total number of preparatory students to 96. In the presence of their parents, the new entrants were welcomed by the supervisory team and second-year students, all of whom were heavily involved in the integration of their fellow students.

Once settled in at the boarding school, the new students took the time to familiarize themselves with the campus facilities and chat with their fellow students, a first step towards embracing the school’s values of belonging and caring.

Among the new recruits, 27% are girls, 16% come from the Northern Region, and 8% come from disadvantaged backgrounds. This selection is in line with LYMED’s founding vision of promoting diversity and excellence within the region.

As the new school year begins, we wish them the best of luck in shaping their own destiny and creating a lasting bond with those who will share their daily lives over the next two years.
