1 734 160 PASSENGERS AND 457 624 VEHICLES PASSED THROUGH TANGER MED PORT DURING THE MARHABA 2024 CAMPAIGN

The Marhaba campaign launched on June 5th and completed on September 15, 2024 ran smoothly at Tanger Med Port. A total of 1 734 160 Passengers and 457 624 vehicles passed through the port, up by 7% and 11% respectively compared to 2023.

To guarantee access to the port, especially during busy periods, passengers have been advised to bring a confirmed return ticket with them before arrival. This year’s event was marked by a fluid and secure flow of passengers, thanks to the total involvement of all partners, notably the local authorities, the DGSN, the Gendarmerie and Customs, under the coordination of the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity

The exemplary cooperation between the Moroccan and Spanish authorities has made it possible to manage flows effectively, especially during periods of high traffic.
