CSR

In the framework of its actions dedicated to improving school infrastructures in the area, Tanger Med Foundation has undertaken, in partnership with the Provincial Directorate of the Ministry of National Education Tanger-Assilah, the upgrading project of the Cherraka school located in the commune of Hjar Nhal.

The project responds to the school’s need to increase its capacity, which today attracts more than 700 pupils, and to adapt its infrastructure to the area’s demographic growth.

The project includes
– Upgrading of classrooms (waterproofing, aluminium, painting…)
– Construction of an administrative block (management, meeting room, computer room, toilets)
– Construction of a sanitary block for students
– Development of the entrance and courtyard
– Development of the car park
– Installation of covered areas at entrance level (metal framework)
– Greenspace
Delivered in February 2021, the school now offers good conditions for schooling (secure and
functional facilities) and a favourable working
environment for the administrative and teaching staff
