TRAINING AND SUPPORT FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

This year, the Tanger Med Foundation renewed its partnership with the Association Les Sourdoués, which works for the inclusion of people with hearing disabilities.

Emphasis was placed on supporting hearing-impaired young people through sign language training; an essential skill for any form of communication. A program of artistic expression workshops and introduction to computers has been launched in order to promote their integration into society.

The partnership also covers the acquisition of hearing aids for those needing this equipment.

It should be noted that the association provides a space for young people (aged 6 to 18) suffering from hearing loss, offering several services: consultations, screenings, treatment…
