THE MD2 AND GS2 SERVICES OF OCEAN NETWORK EXPRESS (ONE) NEWLY RESTRUCTURED

The Asia–Mediterranean segment of the current MS2 service is now evolving into a standalone service, renamed Mediterranean 2 (MD2).

This new service will connect Busan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Kaohsiung, Shekou, Singapore, the Cape of Good Hope, Tanger Med, Valencia, Barcelona, Genoa, and Fos, before returning via Singapore and Busan.

The first port of call for the Hyundai Neptune V.040W ship is scheduled for Busan on September 7, 2025.

Transit times to Busan and central China will be optimized, while cargo from Laem Chabang and Cai Mep will be handled by transshipment via Singapore.

The service will also offer improved coverage between the US West Coast and Northern China, thereby strengthening Asia–Mediterranean connectivity.
