THE DALIA BEACH, SUPPORTED BY TANGER MED GROUP, AND AIN DIAB EXTENSION BEACH, SUPPORTED BY MARSA MAROC, HAVE BEEN LABELLED BLUE FLAG

Awarded annually by the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Protection of the Environment, the “Blue Flag” label has been awarded to 27 beaches and three marinas in the summer of 2023.

The “Dalia” beach supported by Tanger Med Foundation and the “Ain Diab Extension” beach supported by Marsa Maroc have been awarded the “Blue Flag” label. This label, awarded by the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Protection of the Environment as part of the “Clean Beaches” program, testifies to the group’s commitment to preserving the environment.

The ceremony to hoist the “Blue Flag” at the two beaches took place in July, in the presence of local authorities, the representative of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection, representatives of Tanger Med and Marsa Maroc, and representatives of civil society.

The awarding of this label rewards the efforts of Tanger Med Group and Marsa Maroc to ensure the cleanliness and development of these beaches, as well as the protection of their environment and raising awareness of environmental issues among summer visitors.
