TANGER MED STAFF MEMBERS SUCCESSFULLY CLIMB NORTH AFRICA’S HIGHEST PEAK

Driven by a sense of challenge and team spirit, a dozen employees from Tanger Med Group set out to conquer Mount Toubkal, the highest point in the High Atlas as well as in Morocco and North Africa with an altitude of 4,167 meters, located about 60 kilometers south of Marrakech.

In a friendly atmosphere and after a journey filled with perseverance, pushing one’s limits, and mutual encouragement, the participants representing the Group’s various subsidiaries were able to proudly hoist the Tanger Med flag on the highest peak in North Africa on Saturday, October 22nd.

Supported by AOSTM, the” Association des Oeuvres Sociales de Tanger Med”, this challenge has become a tradition within the Group over the years and attracts not only professional hikers but also mountaineering enthusiasts. The ascent was preceded by a series of hikes in the northern region of Morocco, a stage that is intended as an essential preparatory phase before the big adventure
