TANGER MED SHARES ITS EXPERTISE DURING HUAWEI CONNECT 2025

Tanger Med participated in HUAWEI CONNECT 2025 during a round table dedicated to smart ports, under the theme “Smart Port in Motion, Uninterrupted Flow of Goods.”

This meeting brought together international players from the port and technology sectors to discuss innovations and digital solutions capable of improving the efficiency and safety of port operations.

Discussions focused on key priorities for the development of smart ports, including the integration of artificial intelligence, optimization of information systems, automation of operations, and enhanced security.

On this occasion, Huawei presented two new solutions, Intelligent Horizontal Transportation 2.0 and Port Operation AI Agent, designed to accelerate digitization and provide a solid digital foundation for port operations.

Speaking at this round table, Mr. Mohamed Eddoujaji, Manager of Business Information Systems and Information Systems Security, emphasized in his speech that the challenges facing the sector, such as decarbonization, smooth flows, and safety, are now being proactively addressed by Tanger Med thanks to a decarbonization strategy that is already well underway and operational, as well as ongoing technological advances based on artificial intelligence, blockchain, and the Internet of Things.
