TANGER MED PORT VISIT – AN IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE FOR LYMED STUDENTS

LYMED students studying MPSI had the opportunity to visit Tanger Med Port. This immersion allowed them to better understand the inner workings of maritime transport and large-scale logistics.

LYMED students took part in an enriching program, featuring engaging presentations on how the port operates, a tour of the Harbor Master’s Office, and an exploration of the terminals. This experience gave them a solid understanding of the challenges of global trade and the infrastructure that supports the Moroccan economy.

In addition, this visit was a real source of inspiration for our future engineers. Understanding the logistical challenges, speaking with industry professionals, and seeing the inner workings of a world-renowned port up close opened up new perspectives for their academic and professional futures. An immersive experience that confirms the importance of field trips in the training of LYMED students.
