Inclusive education in Morocco is now a priority of national education policy, aimed at ensuring equitable access to education for all students, including those with disabilities. In this context, Tanger Med Foundation is actively contributing to the promotion of this inclusion through the renovation of adapted resource rooms.

After equipping a resource room at Hassan I Primary School in Tangier, Tanger Med Foundation supported the renovation of a second room at Al Irfane Primary School. This room accommodates 25 children aged 6 to 14 with a variety of disorders, such as autism, attention deficit disorders, and other intellectual or learning difficulties.

These students come from seven different schools in Tangier, including Al Irfane.

It should be noted that Al Irfane School is raising awareness among students, teachers and parents to make them aware of the early detection of disorders and in order to strengthen understanding and commitment around inclusion, in partnership with experts as well as civil society organizations, such as the association La Fraternité and OVCI la Nostra Famiglia.
