TANGER MED FOUNDATION PARTICIPATES IN WORLD OCEAN DAY CELEBRATIONS

As part of its commitment to raising awareness of the crucial importance of ocean preservation and promoting eco-responsible practices, the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection celebrated this year’s World Ocean Day with ecological events across the Kingdom from June 3rd to 8th, 2024, under the theme “Awakening New Depths”.

Aware of the scope of this program and its impact on environmental awareness, Tanger Med Foundation, in partnership with the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Protection of the Environment, arranged for 25 schoolchildren from the Fahs Anjra Province to visit Tanger Med Port Complex.

This immersive day offered young people a unique opportunity to learn about the role of the port and its interactions with its ecosystem, reinforcing their understanding of the preservation of the marine environment.
