TANGER MED FOUNDATION LAUNCHES A HANDICRAFT COMPETITION IN MELLOUSSA

In partnership with local associations, local authorities, and the municipality of Melloussa, Tanger Med Foundation supported the organization of a unique sporting event: a race dedicated to artisans from Fahs Anjra province.

This initiative, held in the municipality of Melloussa, aimed to combine physical activity with the promotion of local craftsmanship. Hundreds of artisans, both male and female, took part in this competition, which was designed to boost the local economy and promote social unity.

On the sidelines of the sporting event, Melloussa’s main square was transformed into a bustling exhibition village. Booths were set up, allowing visitors and participants to discover and purchase local products such as honey, olive oil, pottery, and traditional woven goods.
