As part of the regional WOMENA project rolled out by GIZ (German development cooperation), and with support from the Regional Center for Educational Guidance and Training (CROSP), the Regional Academy for Education and Training (AREF), and the Provincial Directorate of the Ministry of National Education, Tanger Med Foundation facilitated the 2025 edition of Girls’ Day.

This initiative aims to promote the empowerment of young girls by helping them make better educational and career choices. It allows them to discover sectors that are often overlooked in traditional school curricula, thereby broadening their horizons in terms of career opportunities.

On May 24, 2025, approximately sixty high school girls from Fahs Anjra province had the opportunity to visit Tanger Med Port Complex and learn about the diversity of port, logistics, and nautical professions.
