TANGER AUTOMOTIVE CITY: ESTABLISHMENT OF BROAD-OCEAN MOTOR FACILITY

Tanger Med’s Industrial Platform once again confirms its position as a strategic hub for the automotive industry and sustainable mobility. The Chinese group Broad-Ocean Motor, a leading global player in the electric motor sector, has confirmed the establishment of a major industrial unit covering 161,058 m² in Tanger Automotive City, representing an investment of MAD 1.245 billion.

This project marks a key step in strengthening the Kingdom’s electric vehicle ecosystem and confirms the industrial platform’s position as a preferred destination for manufacturers seeking innovation, performance, and competitiveness.

Through its two newly created subsidiaries, SHedrive Industrial Morocco and SHedrive Trading Morocco, Broad-Ocean Motor will develop activities in the design, manufacture, and assembly of electric and hybrid engines in response to growing global demand for sustainable mobility solutions.

This strategic project consolidates momentum generated by the arrival of world-class industrial players in the facility.

With an already established presence in China, America, and Europe, Broad-Ocean Motor is continuing its international development by drawing on the strengths of Morocco and Tanger Med.
