START OF CONSTRUCTION WORK ON A 225/22 KV SOURCE SUBSTATION

SATT (Société d’Aménagement de Tanger Tech) announces the start of construction work on a 225/22 KV substation. The project, which is part of the off-site infrastructure designed to supply electricity to the first section of the industrial zone Mohammed VI Tanger Tech City, represents an investment of almost 197 million MAD.

Scheduled for commissioning in July 2025, the new substation is designed to significantly boost the energy capacity available to customers in the Tanger Tech zone. The size and ambition of this zone call for robust, reliable infrastructures. The 225/22 KV substation will be a key element in guaranteeing a stable and adequate power supply.
