From August 31 to September 2, 2025, Tanger Med Engineering (TME) participated in the 22nd edition of Transport Middle East, hosted by the Port of Salalah in the Sultanate of Oman. Considered the largest annual gathering of the ports and logistics community in the Middle East, the event brought together public decision-makers, port operators, shippers, equipment manufacturers, and technology providers to discuss issues related to performance, connectivity, and investment.

TME participated as an exhibitor, showcasing its port engineering and logistics references, its complex project management capabilities, and its solutions for operational efficiency, sustainability, and digital transformation of industrial and port platforms.

The event also featured a presentation by Mr. Nasser Tlassellal, Managing Director of TME, during a panel discussion on the trajectory of local ports toward world-class platforms that generate industrial growth and economic progress. His speech put into perspective the drivers that enable a port to become a global player: development of multimodal infrastructure, industrial integration, operational excellence, digitalization, and decarbonization pathways.

This participation has reinforced TME’s visibility within the regional ecosystem, promoted targeted business meetings, and opened up new avenues for cooperation on high value-added port and logistics projects.
