PARTICIPATION IN THE SEA FORUM IN EL JADIDA

Tanger Med Group took part in the 8^th edition of the Sea Forum, held in El Jadida from May 8 to 11, 2025, under the theme “The Sea, the Future of the Earth.” This major event brought together more than 1,000 participants to discuss issues related to ocean protection, marine biodiversity, and sustainable coastal development.

Represented by Mr. Kamal Lakhmass, Central Director and Commander of Tanger Med Port, the Group highlighted its exemplary commitment to a sustainable and resilient port model. During his speech, Mr. Lakhmass emphasized that Tanger Med is not only the leading container port in Africa and the Mediterranean, but also embodies a new generation of responsible ports at the heart of the ecological transition.

By affirming its position as a green port serving a blue economy, Tanger Med reiterates its commitment to a protected, sustainable, and inclusive sea.
