PARTICIPATION IN THE INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF 70 WOMEN EXPERTS FROM AFRICA

Tanger Med took part in the plenary session of the International Congress of Women Experts, held under the theme “Tanger Med’s Strategy for the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA)”. This major event took place in Tangier and brought together experts and leaders from various sectors to discuss strategies for development and economic integration in Africa.

The plenary session highlighted Tanger Med’s strategy within the framework of AfCFTA, focusing on the Group’s efforts to promote intra-African trade, improve logistics infrastructures, and strengthen the region’s trade capacities. The presentations covered several key aspects: “Infrastructure and Connectivity”, “Trade Facilitation”, and “Sustainable Development”.

On the sidelines of the plenary session, a guided tour of Tanger Med Port was organized for congress participants. The visit gave them a close-up view of the port facilities, logistics infrastructure, and day-to-day operations that make Tanger Med one of the world’s most efficient ports.
