PARTICIPATION IN THE HAMBURG SUSTAINABILITY CONFERENCE 2024

With the presence of Mr. Mehdi TAZI-RIFFI, CEO of Tanger Med Group, Tanger Med took an active part in the 1st edition of the Hamburg Sustainability Conference (HSC), which took place on October 7 and 8, 2024, at the City Hall and Chamber of Commerce of the city of Hamburg.

The event brought together world leaders from the political, economic, scientific, and civil society sectors, all united by the desire to take concrete action to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Through insightful dialogue, trust-building, and collaboration focused on practical solutions, HSC has shed light on some of the world’s most pressing challenges, while at the same time cultivating longterm, sustainable partnerships.

Structured around three main forums, five thematic hubs, and over 60 sessions, the conference enabled participants to reflect on new ways of reorganizing international financial systems, increasing investment in sustainable development, and harnessing innovation to generate transformational change. Together, they developed and defined concrete actions to build a sustainable future for all.
