PARTICIPATION IN THE EUROPE-AFRICA FORUM IN MARSEILLE

Tanger Med actively participated in the 4^th edition of the Europe-Africa Forum, held on May 6, 2025 in Marseille, with Morocco as the guest of honor. This high-level event brought together more than 1,000 public decision-makers, economic operators, investors, and international institutions from across the continents around the theme “Innovating Together”.

During the panel discussion entitled “Can the Mediterranean port be a model?”, Tanger Med Group’s CEO Mehdi Tazi Riffi presented the platform as an integrated logistics and industrial hub, bringing together more than 1,300 international businesses in the automotive, aeronautics, agri-food, and energy sectors.

His speech highlighted two major drivers of development: energy transition and port operations digitization.

Tanger Med has thereby reaffirmed its strategic role as a hub for Euro-African connectivity, fully integrated into major global value chains.
