PARTICIPATION IN THE AFRICA CEO FORUM IN KIGALI

At the 11th annual Africa CEO Forum summit, held in Kigali on May 16th and 17th, 2024, 2,000 business leaders, CEOs, investors, heads of state, and ministers gathered to discuss strategies for strengthening Africa’s position. The emphasis was placed on exploiting the continent’s comparative advantages, such as demographic growth, the development of natural resources, and the entertainment sector. This summit was an interesting opportunity to define a new trajectory and meet future challenges.

Tanger Med Group participated in a session under the theme “Green ports, blue oceans: Accelerating decarbonization in the maritime industry”, as well as a strategic roundtable under the theme “Navigating digital waters: Preparing African ports for a single maritime window”.  These sessions highlighted Tanger Med’s initiatives in decarbonization and digitalization of ports, thus contributing to the modernization and sustainability of the African maritime sector.
