PARTICIPATION IN GITEX 2024 IN MARRAKECH

From May 29th to 31st, 2024, Marrakech played host to GITEX Africa Morocco, a leading technology event that is proving to be a strategic platform for the socio-economic development of the African continent. By bringing together global technology leaders, startups, investors, and government institutions, this event is helping to forge a prosperous digital future for Africa. Morocco, as host country, reaffirms its role as a catalyst of the digital revolution in Africa and its commitment to an inclusive and sustainable technological transformation.

Tanger Med Group took part in this event and contributed to the session “From borders to bytes – Transforming trade in Africa”, highlighting the Group’s efforts to modernize and digitalize the continent’s trade infrastructure. Furthermore, Mr. Ridouan Boulaich, Director of Organization and Information Systems, took part in the session “Public Administration 4.0: Reinventing public services in the age of innovation and new technologies”, highlighting Tanger Med’s efforts to adopt innovative digital solutions such as the implementation of advanced information systems and intelligent management platforms, with the goal of improving the efficiency of public services.
