NEW MARITIME SERVICE BETWEEN TURKEY AND WEST AFRICA FROM MAY 2025

To better meet its customers’ logistics planning needs, HAPAG-LLOYD launched a new direct service between Turkey and the main ports of West Africa in May 2025.

This service, called WAX, combines the advantages of the former XMX and WAX services, offering extensive coverage, optimized transit times, and increased flexibility.

It therefore continues to serve intra-European trade, strengthening connectivity between these strategic regions.
