NEW FACILITIES IN TANGER FREE ZONE

POLYDESIGN ANNOUNCES THE OPENING OF ITS SECOND FACTORY IN TFZ PLANNED FOR 2023

Polydesign Systems, the Moroccan subsidiary of the American-Canadian multinational Exco Automotive Solutions, plans to launch the construction of its second plant in 2023 on a 14,000 m2 plot of land adjacent to its original site in Tanger Free Zone. For an investment of MAD 82 million (excluding land). The new plant will also specialize in the design and production of interior parts and seat components,
mainly for the European market, but also for American, African, and Asian markets.

LISI Group is an international leader in the design and manufacture of high value-added assembly solutions.

The equipment manufacturer, Lisi Automotive, has just installed a new production unit in Tanger Free Zone (TFZ).

Six plastic injection molding machines will produce cable harness trunking and clipping solutions for its customers, including Stellantis, Renault, and Volkswagen, for a total investment of €5 million, or approximately MAD 51 million.

Note that the Tanger site of Lisi Automotive was established in 2018 in the TFZ. It employs approximately thirty people.

NEW FACILITIES IN TANGER AUTOMOTIVE CITY

SONOFET, a Moroccan business that specializes in the production of thermal insulation panels in XPS and plastics, has planned to create 70 jobs over an 18,000 m² area, thanks to an investment of MAD 54 million.

BOACASINGS, a Moroccan company present on 3 continents, BOA is the leader in the field of natural casings, operating on a 30,000 m² area. Following an investment of €15,000,000, the company plans to create 800 jobs.

METALIMPEX, belonging to the SUEZ group since 2008, is an expert in the recycling of metal waste —“Recycling and recovery of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.” Covering an area of 23,100 m², and thanks to an investment of €3,800,000, the business will set up its factory in Tanger Automotive City

RAVAGO, dealing in industrial grade polymers and high quality recycled plastics which are increasingly used for a wide range of applications in the automotive industry, for electrical and electronic applications, for furniture, non-visible parts of domestic appliances and many other applications using environmentally friendly materials, at a lower price and with a consistently high quality.

This group has planned the development of 67 jobs, on a 20,000 m² area, through an investment of €16,500,000.
