LAUNCH OF “HYPER U” IN THE CABO NEGRO COMMERCIAL ZONE

Hyper U Cabo Negro, operated by Africa Retail Market (ARM), the exclusive representative of the U brand in Morocco, officially opened its doors on August 12, 2025, marking a decisive step forward for Cabo Negro’s retail landscape.

Located in the heart of the Cabo Negro Commercial Zone developed by the operator Tanger Med Zones, the store covers more than 3 000 m² and, since opening, has offered a wide range of affordable products, with an emphasis on local production and short distribution channels.

Backed by an investment of MAD 200 million, the project has generated more than 250 direct jobs and 100 indirect jobs, boosting the region’s economic and social appeal. The development within the commercial zone was part of an overall vision aimed at boosting shopping and leisure options and meeting the expectations of both residents and visitors.
