ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS AND EDUCATION CAMPAIGN AT DALIA BEACH

As part of the national B7ar Bla Plastic campaign, the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection, under the presidency of HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa, organized an environmental awareness and education initiative on July 16, 2024 at Dalia Beach, the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection, in partnership with Tanger Med Foundation and local associations.

Seventy children participated in this day, including twenty autistic children from the Amal association in Fnideq. As part of the program, the youngsters had the opportunity to discover the sailing school and Dalia beach’s new features for this summer season, including a marine museum, a biodiversity zone, and a digital library.

Among the activities carried out:

• FM6E workshop: Presentation ofeducational awareness-raising tools
• Scuba diving and garbage collection
• Awareness of the dangers of trawling nets
• Recycling workshops
• Discovery of artificial intelligence and observation of the oceans and the seabed of Dalia Beach
• Observation of microplastics
• Scientific research workshop
