EMIRATES LOGISTICS” LOGISTICS CENTER STARTS OPERATIONS IN TANGER AUTOMOTIVE CITY

Emirates Logistics – a subsidiary of the Emirati Sharaf Group – is continuing its development in Morocco with the creation of its subsidiary Emirates Automotive Logistics and the construction of a new logistics center in Tanger Automotive City, in Tanger Med Industrial Platform, which offers just-in-time logistics services on finished products, raw materials, and spare parts, for industrial companies

The inauguration ceremony of the logistics center was presided over on Friday, June 10, 2022 by H.E ABDULLAH BIN TOUQ AL MARRI, Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates, Mrs. NADIA FETTAH ALAOUI, Minister of Economy and Finance of Morocco, and Mr.
MOHAMMED ABDELJALIL, Minister of Transport and Mr. FOUAD BRINI Chairman of Tanger Med Group.

The center covers an area of 14,500m2 and employs a staff of 100 people working in shifts 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, offers a storage capacity of 15,000 pallets, with a secure mezzanine for the management of 10, 000 cartons for electronic parts and 14 docks allowing an inbound and outbound flow of 80 trucks per day.

Located in Morocco since 2016, Emirates Logistics employs more than 350 professionals, manages 47,600 m2 of storage space spread over 5 logistics centers, and operates a fleet of 32 trucks. With this new site, Emirates Logistics confirms its position as a leader in logistics services in Morocco and Africa by offering tailor-made solutions that meet the challenges of its customers by relying on talented and flexible teams,
infrastructure, and modern and clean equipment, safe and responsible working environment, reliable and innovative technological systems and processes.
