DISCOVERING UM6P’S COMPUTING COLLEGE: AN ENRICHING ENCOUNTER FOR SECOND-YEAR STUDENTS

On Thursday, April 10th, second-year students attended a captivating presentation led by Ikram Chairi, a professor at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) and researcher in Machine Learning.

This presentation, focused on the College of Computing engineering school at UM6P, gave students insight into the unique features of this innovative school specializing in computer science and digital technologies.

On the agenda: an exploration of the programs offered, research projects conducted by the School, career opportunities offered by the programs, and insight into UM6P’s educational approach, based on interdisciplinarity and innovation.

Students were able to ask questions and speak with Ms. Chairi about admission requirements, career opportunities, and future prospects in the fields of digital technology, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. The presentation also provided a clearer picture of the scholarship opportunities available within the College of Computing.

This meeting is part of our career guidance program, which aims to give students a frame of reference and encourage them to develop ambitious plans in line with today’s scientific and technological challenges.
