DEVELOPMENT OF THE BRAREK ROAD – JOUAMAA COMMUNE

The Foundation has signed a partnership agreement with the Jouamâa commune to develop the road serving the Brarek douar located near the industrial zone Tanger Automotive City and the Chrafate area.

The project will facilitate access to the douar and follow the area’s economic and demographic development.

The works for the development of the track, over a length of 2 km, include the following elements
– Earthworks (stripping, adjusting and compacting the platform);
– Construction of the concrete roadway at the steep section and riverside access;
– Hydraulic works to protect the low sections and riverside accesses;
– Opening of natural ditches along the runway;
– Construction of the concrete ditches.
Today, the track constitutes an added value to the douar for more than 246 households.
