CREATION OF READING AREAS IN FAHS ANJRA

As part of a partnership between Tanger Med Foundation and the Afak Association, a project aimed at facilitating access to reading in rural areas has been set up. Three reading areas have been created, equipped, and run in schools in Fahs Anjra: Bni Hlou Elementary School in Khmis Anjra, Bni Ouassin Elementary School in Bahraouiyine, and Dar Talib & Taliba in Jouamaa.

This project reinforces cultural democratization and equal opportunities, with more than 848 students benefiting from these areas and no fewer than 2,000 books borrowed since they were opened.

At the same time, training workshops on reading techniques were organized for the children. Led by experts in soft skills, these sessions aim to promote cognitive development, independence, and personal fulfillment among young participants.
