CLOSING OF THE ART WORKSHOPS IN SCHOOLS

With a focus on encouraging artistic creativity and freedom of expression, the Foundation’s art workshop season has come to a close in various rural schools.

As many as 170 students participated in art and culture programs in various disciplines:

• Andalusian music workshop, Ksar Sghir Vocational
  High School – Ksar Sghir Municipality
• Choir workshop, Community Center – Melloussa
  Municipality
• Painting workshop, Omar Ibn Khattab Community
  School – Khmiss Anjra Municipality
• Painting workshop, Ibn Toumert High School –
  Belyounech Municipality
• School theater workshop, Dar Talib de Jouamâa –
  Jouamâa Municipality
• School theater workshop, Abdelkrim Khattabi Junior
  High – Ksar Al Majaz Municipality

The deliberations with the pedagogical teams of the involved schools have shown that the workshops constitute a different, playful, and motivating learning environment. The impact on the students was noted in particular in speaking, imagination, and openness to foreign languages.

Implemented gradually since 2018, the art workshops are, today, an indispensable support for the development of children in rural areas and are becoming more and more popular in the region.
