CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE 4TH COHORT OF SCHOOL AND SOCIAL LIFE ASSISTANTS (AVS AND AVSO)

The closing ceremony of the 4th edition of the training program for School and Social Life Assistants training program, supported by Tanger Med Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of National Education, Preschool, and Sports and Children of Paradise Association (“Association Enfants du Paradis”) was held on July 11, 2025, at the Royal Club of the Marina in Tangier.

This year’s event honored 33 graduates, reflecting the growing number of recipients. It also stood out thanks to two major advances: the introduction of a module dedicated to Social Life Assistants, focused on supporting elderly people, and the inclusion of six participants from rural areas (18% of the total), broadening the program’s inclusive impact.

The training, provided by a multidisciplinary teaching team (doctors, paramedical professionals, expert trainers), was supplemented by a practical internship for each graduate, in order to consolidate their knowledge and facilitate their professional integration. The initiative was thus aimed at providing the region with qualified professionals capable of supporting both children with disabilities and elderly people, promoting a humane, respectful, and sustainable approach to social support.
