From July 22 to 24, 2025, Tanger Med Engineering (TME) took part in the 33rd edition of Intermodal Africa, held in Beira, Mozambique. Designed to promote networking between foreign and local investors in maritime transport infrastructure in East Africa, the event combined two days of conferences with a specialized exhibition bringing together decision-makers, port operators, shippers, and solution providers.

Present as an exhibitor, TME highlighted its port and logistics engineering credentials, asset management capabilities, and digital solutions to enhance the performance, resilience, and sustainability of port platforms.

The event also featured a presentation by Mr. Oussama Boushaba, Head of Asset Management and Digital Solutions at TME, on a panel dedicated to “Engineering support to maximize operational efficiency and reduce CO₂ emissions.” His talk illustrated, based on case studies, how data-driven asset management, predictive maintenance, and process optimization help increase productivity while reducing the carbon footprint of operations.
