PARTICIPATION IN THE WORLD PORTS CONFERENCE 2024

The “IAPH 2024 World Ports Conference” was hosted during the 2024 edition by the Port of Hamburg from October 8 to 10, 2024. The event brought together key players in the global maritime supply chain, including port authorities, policymakers, ship and cargo owners, and service providers.

The conference offered crucial insights into how the world’s ports are adapting to the energy transition and building secure, sustainable solutions in a rapidly changing global environment marked by increasing geopolitical instability and security threats. Discussions and presentations focused on risk management, building resilience, and creating new opportunities.

Tanger Med took an active part in the sessions and discussions, with Mr. Medhi TAZI RIFFI, CEO of Tanger Med Group, taking part in the “Port Leadership in Data Collaboration” panel alongside Mr. Jens Meier, CEO of the Port of Hamburg, and Mr. Eugene Seroka, Managing Director of the Port of Los Angeles.
