BIOGRAPHY
Origins and Education
Fouad Brini was born in Tetouan and spent part of his youth in Kenitra.
After secondary school studies at the 1st Royal Military High School of Kenitra, he joined the School of Engineering Sciences (ESIM) of Montpellier, from which he obtained the degree of Engineer in Microelectronics and Systems Design in 1986. He continued his studies in Management at the Institute of Business Administration (Institut de l'Administration des Entreprises - IAE) in Montpellier to obtain his DESS (post-graduate diploma) in 1987.
Career
After an experience at Control Data France and IBM, Fouad BRINI joined the BULL Group, where he was in charge of the study and implementation of several computerization solutions for large organizations.
In 1992, he left the multinational company to create and develop companies in the computer and telecom sector for almost 14 years and to contribute to the realization of several information systems projects for ministries, as well as large public and private institutions.
In 2006, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, appointed Fouad Brini General Director of the Agency for the Promotion, Economic, and Social Development of the Prefectures and Provinces of the North of the Kingdom.
In 2006, Fouad Brini joined Tanger Med Special Agency (TMSA) as a member of the Supervisory Board and Director of the Group's subsidiaries.
Four years later, he was appointed Director of the development company for the reconversion of the port area of Tangier City (SAPT).
In January 2014, Fouad Brini was appointed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Tanger Med Special Agency. A mission that he carries out until today.
Extra-professional experiences
Fouad Brini is a founding member of the Competitive Morocco association (Le Maroc Compétitif - LMC), created in 1996 following the study conducted by the World Bank on the conditions for economic growth in Morocco. One year later, he was appointed Member of the National Committee for Monitoring Information Technologies (Comité National de Suivi des Technologies de l'Information), a working group created by the Prime Minister, Abdellatif Filali, which carried out a national strategy on the sector on behalf of the government.
His expertise in Information Technology enabled him to occupy, in 1998, the position of President of the Association of Information Technology Professionals (Association des Professionnels des Technologies de l'Information - APEBI), Federation of the CGEM.
In 2000, Fouad Brini became a member of the Higher Council for National Promotion and Planning.

Fouad Brini is married with two children.
